At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the Great War ended. One hundred years later, the Tyler Civic Chorale seeks to re-tell the stories of a generation of composers and writers who either lost their lives in conflict or whose lives were permanently affected by the First World War. The second half of the concert will feature a rare performance of Marcel Dupré's De Profundis, Op. 17, a powerful work dedicated to the soldiers who died for their country.
